Here we have a newly finished and well engineered 5" gauge LMS Rebuilt Scot. The solidly constricted silver soldered copper boiler can be given a fresh hydraulic shell test, the full 3 cylinder chassis has run nicely on air and if you'd like us to fully commission it into steam we can do that as well. Fitted with 2 injectors, a hand pump and a mechanical axle pump with footplate mounted bypass valve, lubrication is mechanical.
The loco was actually finished some time ago, and tucked up nice and dry in the builder's loft along with a NB Atlantic, a Manor and a Britannia! Winching them down vertically through the tiny loft hatch was an interesting experience!
We are super busy here in the workshop at the moment, so apologies for the lack of written information here at the moment! As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
